Forsyth County Probate Court — Legal Internship

August 2024 – Present

As a legal intern, I’m gaining firsthand experience in how local government operates and how law serves the community. My work focuses on improving efficiency and accessibility for both citizens and court staff while deepening my understanding of legal procedure and public service.   • Shadow hearings and observe judicial proceedings with the Honorable Judge, gaining insight into courtroom processes.
  • Map intake and process steps for filings and administrative workflows.
  • Assist with case discussions and courthouse administrative tasks.
  • Partner with staff to simplify Annual Returns instructions and intake checklists.
  • Draft resident-facing copy and document future improvements.

Coleman Legal Group, LLC — Legal Internship

October 2024 – Present

As a legal intern at Coleman Legal Group, I’ve experienced the fast-paced, client-focused environment of private law. Reporting directly to CEO Danny Coleman, I lead research for the firm’s new Mediation Department and contribute to public outreach through legal writing and content creation.

  • Lead the inaugural Mediation Department, researching and outlining effective dispute-resolution strategies.
  • Attend client meetings and observe case discussions to understand the business side of legal practice.
  • Write and publish legal articles for the firm’s website, translating complex legal topics into clear, accessible language.
  • Develop strong research, communication, and analytical skills through hands-on case exposure and content development.

Forsyth County Juvenile Court — Peer Court Volunteer

April 2024 – Present

Serving as a Peer Court Volunteer with the Forsyth County Juvenile Court has given me a meaningful look into how restorative justice works at the community level. Through this experience, I’ve learned how empathy, fairness, and accountability can transform lives—especially for youth facing their first encounter with the justice system.

  • Certified Peer Court Volunteer, trained to serve in various roles during juvenile disposition hearings.
  • Advocate for first-time juvenile offenders, helping recommend fair and constructive community service outcomes.
  • Participate in hearings by acting as a youth attorney, learning courtroom procedure and public speaking under real conditions.
  • Collaborate with court staff and peers to promote rehabilitation and accountability rather than punishment.
  • Gained firsthand understanding of how policy decisions impact individuals and how compassion can shape more equitable justice.

South Forsyth High School Mock Trial — Lead Attorney

August 2022 – Present

As Lead Attorney for the South Forsyth High School Mock Trial Team, I’ve learned to combine critical thinking, collaboration, and courtroom advocacy. This role pushed me to think strategically, argue persuasively, and lead confidently—shaping both my passion for law and my growth.

  • Motivated by this role, completed the Georgia High School Mock Trial Law Academy (Class of 2023, honors).

Forsyth County Middle School Mock Trial — Co-Captain

October 2024 – Present

As Co-Captain of Forsyth County’s first Middle School Mock Trial Team, I share my passion for law and advocacy with younger students. Mentoring future speakers and writers has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey, letting me give back to the community that sparked my love for legal education.

  • Co-captain the inaugural Middle School Mock Trial team in Forsyth County.
  • Mentor and train students in courtroom speaking, writing, and case analysis.
  • Inspire students to explore the intersection of public speaking, logic, and leadership.

CTAE Student Ambassador — Forsyth County Schools

2025–2026 School Year

Represent the Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security (LPSCS) cluster; bridge classroom learning with real-world experiences across the district.

  • Serve as a liaison between students, educators, and business leaders; promote CTAE programs countywide.
  • Represent Forsyth County Schools at events highlighting career readiness, workforce development, and student innovation.
  • Lead outreach with community partners: mock interviews and internship pathways.
  • Develop and demonstrate leadership, communication, and public speaking while inspiring peers to explore career pathways.

Junior Optimist International (JOI) — President, SFHS Chapter & Lt. Governor, Southeastern Region

December 2022 – Present

As the Founding President of South Forsyth High School’s JOI chapter and current Lt. Governor for the Southeastern Region, I’ve led a team of passionate students dedicated to spreading optimism through service. Our mission is simple but powerful—creating meaningful change through compassion, collaboration, and consistent action.

  • Founded and led the SFHS JOI chapter, building a membership base focused on service and leadership.
  • Spearheaded community service projects benefiting local families, seniors, and children in need.
  • Organized large-scale initiatives including Meals by Grace Cake Kits, affirmation cards for shelters and seniors, Trunk or Treat, De-Stress Fest, and an art supplies drive for the Children’s Center for Hope & Healing.
  • Recruited and mentored members; coordinated officer teams and logistics; built partnerships with local organizations and JOI chapters across the Southeastern U.S.

Youth Leadership Forsyth — Volunteer

As a member of the Youth Leadership Forsyth Program, I learn directly from community leaders while working on hands-on service projects that make a meaningful impact. Selected as one of only 45 students from 100+ applicants, I’m part of a cohort dedicated to leadership skills, civic awareness, and a lifelong commitment to service.

  • Collaborate with local leaders and organizations to see how leadership drives community progress.
  • Organize and participate in service projects benefiting seniors, hospital staff, and first responders.
  • Created table decorations for senior homes and holiday trees with handwritten messages for staff at Northside Hospital and the 911 Dispatch Center.
  • Learn from workshops led by local officials and business leaders on leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Strengthen communication and initiative while contributing to a more connected and compassionate Forsyth community.

Inter-Club Council (ICC) — Executive Board Leader

August 2024 – Present

As part of the Inter-Club Council (ICC) Executive Board at South Forsyth High School, I work with leaders from 40+ student organizations to foster collaboration, streamline communication, and organize events that strengthen our campus community. ICC serves as a bridge between clubs—encouraging unity, shared service, and student leadership.

  • Coordinate 40+ clubs for joint programming, service projects, and campus initiatives.
  • Lead communication and scheduling, ensuring smooth alignment of events and resources among student organizations.
  • Organized and represented SFHS at The Longest Table—the first event of its kind in Forsyth County—bringing students, educators, and community members together for open dialogue over a shared meal.
  • Delivered a speech at the countywide Longest Table celebration highlighting community, diversity, and the power of conversation.
  • Promoted cross-club collaboration, co-sponsored drives, and scaled participation in service projects that unite the student body.

University of Georgia — Young Dawgs Research Internship

Summer 2025 – Present

As a participant in UGA’s Young Dawgs Program, I intern under Professor Daniel W. Hill, Jr. at the School of International & Public Affairs. My placement explores the intersection of democracy, technology, and international human rights—work I plan to continue beyond the summer.

  • Researched how democracy, economic development, and internet freedom interact to shape digital rights.
  • Used R for data processing, analysis, and visualization on large public datasets and indices.
  • Compiled a terrorism bibliography; examined how technology and state control shape responses to conflict.
  • Presented findings at the program symposium; recognized as one of the top four presenters.
  • Continuing research on how economic development affects internet freedom in democracies vs. authoritarian regimes.

The Role of AI in Education — Research Survey, AI Council & Panel Discussion

Forsyth County Schools — 2025

As a student member of the Forsyth County Schools AI Council, I provide input on safe, effective classroom AI adoption and policy. To bring real community voices to the table, I designed and ran a survey capturing how students, parents, and teachers are using AI and what they need from schools.

  • Member, FCS AI Council — student perspective on implementation, guardrails, and classroom use-cases.
  • Created and distributed a Google Form to collect anonymous feedback on AI in schools.
  • Engaged a broad audience across Forsyth County (students, parents, teachers).
  • Analyzed results for themes: accessibility, academic integrity, engagement, educator preparedness.
  • Shared insights with administrators and educators to inform ethical, effective AI use.
  • Invited panelist at the FCS Board of Education discussion; presented survey findings to district leaders.

Encode Justice — GA Chapter Member & AI Policy Advocate

December 2024 – Present

I’m part of Encode Justice, a global youth-led movement for ethical, inclusive AI policy. In the Georgia State Chapter I focus on the intersection of tech, ethics, and civic engagement—amplifying student voices in decisions that will shape our digital future.

  • Collaborate with the GA State Chapter on a debate exploring the bioethics of AI-driven research; helped design format and arguments using public-forum debate experience.
  • Serve as the chapter’s only member with formal debate training; plan and moderate balanced, research-based discussions.
  • Prepared testimony for the Forsyth County Schools Board of Education on AI-generated deepfakes; proposed strategies to combat misinformation and improve digital safety.
  • Work with the Forsyth County Superintendent and AI Council to craft student-informed recommendations for safe, effective classroom AI.
  • Conducted a countywide survey of students, parents, and teachers on AI in education; presented findings to district leaders to guide ethical integration.

TecBridge — Digital Media Director & Podcast Host

September 2023 – Present

As the Digital Media Director for TecBridge (a nonprofit focused on bridging the digital divide), I lead awareness efforts through research, media, and storytelling—using content to make technology more inclusive and accessible for all communities.

  • Host and direct the Spotify podcast “A Deep Dive into the Digital Divide,” engaging educators, technologists, and students on access and equity.
  • Produced and published 10+ episodes across platforms; coordinated editing, scripting, and guest outreach.
  • Interviewed community leaders, including Forsyth County Superintendent Dr. Young, on AI in education, mental health, and the future of learning.
  • Developed multimedia outreach highlighting women in STEM, youth mental health, and the societal impact of AI.
  • Strengthened research, storytelling, and digital communication skills to drive social impact.
